weekley update {8}

what a boring week....

we just waited and waited for it to be friday

we didn't do a whole lot, just our usual things

like visiting rocky everyday

she is getting more brave and will stand close to him

rocky had a weigh in and weighed somewhere around 113

he is a friendly pig and if patted on his tummy he will lay down

and will chase us if we run from him

and you can totally hear him coming because his ears flap.

we also went over to visit charlie

for some reason emi thinks charlie cares about bubbles

we also found lots of ladybugs again on our walk back to the house

 

 emi loves to climb the fences.

she likes this specific fence because she can see popcorn trees

and then she saw a 'popcorn tree' up close 

she said hey! that's not popcorn, those are just flowers!

since the weather was so nice she decided to 

trace ozzy's tail with chalk

he kept moving his tail, since her chalk was probably so close

and each time he moved it, she would trace it again

emi and i went to target to pick up some snacks for our drive to disneyland

lately she is on a shopping cart protest, not willing to sit in the 'baby' area. 

i agreed if she stayed close she could walk by the cart

so i walking, doing my own thing when i look down

and who knows for how long but emi was walking like this

pretty much showing her whole bum!!

i had to grab a blurry quick picture before 

i told her to get her hands out of her pants!

em insisted on me taking a picture of her like this

with her flosser stuck in between her front teeth.

poor girl totally has my hair, there are many pictures of me

when i was younger with this crazy fluffy fly aways.

and then it was finally friday and we left for disneyland!!

weekly update {7}

another week has come and gone.

same ol', thing except for this week we went to disney on ice

and this coming week we are headed to disneyland.

so excited!!

silly emi. 

i am shocked she is sleeping on her pillow!

and that pile of dolls is hilarious to me.

they all must sleep in bed with her

but bullseye is too big so he sleeps on the big girl bed

with his own blanket no less!

emi discovered how fun washing dishes was.

she literally was busy 'washing' dishes for a good 30 minutes

which is a shocker, she is a level 9 clinger.

if she doesn't know what i am doing or where i am every 20 seconds

she calls for me, to see what i am doing.

it was so nice to keep her busy, since lately all she wants to do is:

"rest in your bed and watch peppa pig"

don't let that cookie in her hand fool you

she took that one bite and probably only for the frosting.

she loved helping make cookies

 i love that she says oops a daisy when something spilled

and told me i was making her crazy cause i wouldn't let her do everything.

all over her yellow phone.

we were on our way to run errands, mama you have your purse?

yes i do but i forgot to charge your phone.

two seconds later! hysterical crying...an effect of no nap i believe.

this is what happens when she really does need a nap

it happens when she doesn't like the outcome of certain things

usually followed by: you hurt my feelings!

if she isn't too upset about the outcome, she will say sssh! no talking.

like don't tell me no i can't do that.

i hope this isn't terrible three's going on.

for example:  this morning she went potty when she woke up

she walked out of the bathroom, so i flushed the toilet

since she didn't...what happen?

she threw a crying, you hurt my feelings fit because...

you guessed it, she wanted to flush the toilet.

all i can do is explain what really happened 

she walked out, so i did it...and if she wanted to do it she should let me know

sheesh!....this parenting thing can be hard.

luckily she was willing to take a nap.

and she "wasn't crabby anymore", her words!

i guess she only thinks you need a nap when your crabby

she will say she is actually sleepy or tired but when it comes down to napping

she says: i not sweepy! i love how she says it.

she seriously thinks her hair looks fine like this.

presentable...about to see other humans.

when i explain it is crazy and we need to comb it.

nope, it's fine! it's not crazy. 

the only way to solve the issue is to say

i will do her hair in some sort of princes way.

 

i'm so jealous of her ringlet.

emi had been asking to go to the children's museum.

so off we went. i love that her first spot is the art room.

she just likes cutting and gluing...nothing special.

of course we visited charlie.

one afternoon we headed to the grocery store

where i was reminded we needed to get more carrots for her charlie.

 

another reason i think she likes to go visit charlie

is the many ladybugs that she finds.

she doesn't understand why they fly away. 

when one does fly away she seriously looks for it forever.

i lie and then say, here it is...when it's a different ladybug

i her face, pure happiness...she says they tickle her.

she also wanted her picture with rocky.

she found her camera, i guess it went missing

in one had i had her camera..."taking a picture"

and in the other hand, my phone actually taking a picture.

what pig sits like a dog? 

and he also loves his belly rubbed and will lay on his side.

then two seconds later she was screaming in the other direction

because rocky tried eating her boots while taking his picture.

about her camera, she keeps pulling an imaginary picture out of the bottom

like a polaroid picture...and then laughs about how funny the picture is.

friday night we headed to disney on ice...toy story 3

i thought for sure emi would want to wear her jessie halloween costume

nope, she chose her jessie pajamas!

which was a great idea since she would be asleep by the time we got home.

and we were lucky enough to have an extra ticket for gma to come.

she loved it, but us adults thought it was a little slow.

she also enjoyed a jessie snow cone from gma.

this is emi's new forced smile. 

best one so far! but usually she looks all sideways.

eddie's looking a little sleepy in this picture...

a fun night for sure, and a good warm up for disneyland this week.

and last but not least... emi's belly button trick.

she does it all the time! usually when she is relaxed.

it's blurry because she wiggles it.

it's the weirdest thing...

 

depending on how my week goes, i may post on thursday 

or next tuesday when we get back from disneyland.

weekly update {6}

well i am a little late posting but that's ok, it's my blog

i'll just change the date :)

this week emi discovered her love for blowing bubbles

and ozzy got over his fear of bubbles

we even had to go show charlie our bubbles.

emi took a nap two days in a row.

emi will nap for eddie on sundays, no fighting him

we were home alone on monday (no background noise)

and she fell right to sleep.

 of course she insisted on sleeping in our bed.

 

 

 emi's favorite show is peppa pig on nick jr.

so when it rained she had to jump in the muddy puddles

a family favorite thing to do on the peppa pig show.

she wasn't too thrilled that i wanted a picture of her.

after jumping and jumping...with her boots on backwards

she decided she wanted to give ozzy some loves.

we walked all around the whole house searching for puddles.

playing dress up.

this was a... no you can't comb my hair type of day.

cause i'm gonna wear this crown all day.

poor thing is out growing her dress up clothes.

i can barely velcro the back, it's so tight.

and if she bends over, it comes un-done.

we had plans to meet daddy for lunch

but he has a meeting come up, i broke the news to emi

she still wanted a cheeseburger and milkshake

so off we went, and she ate the entire cheeseburger

minus the big chunks of bread of course.

she calls it the "craps", which really means crusts

emi will only draw those silly lines.

i found this coloring thing that helps you figure out which color goes where

she will do the color but she won't color it in

she will just scribbles these little lines 

and that is what she considers coloring.

rocky should really get his own post

and possibly i will take some pictures with my camera when it isn't raining.

oh rocky....emi was so disappointed you weren't a girl names daisy.

when i told emi rocky was not daisy and he was a boy

she made her face where she thinks something is gross.

emi loves to help but won't come closer than 5 feet of him.

he knows how to drink out of the spout

but she insists on helping fill up his water bowl.

emi is really frozen and probably crapping her pants.

she was talking with ozzy through the fence when rocky ran up behind her

and started drinking out of the spout.

she was too scared to run, so she just hung onto the fence.

 

 

 ozzy patiently waiting for me to give him the ok to jump the fence

which i never gave me by the way.

he was literally half way over the fence at one point

at first he would just cry cause he wants to see the pig so bad

but now he just acts jealous afterwards and wants lots of love

 (how sad is it that, that tree in the background broke)

we had a groupon to leatherby's, we went saturday night for our valentine's date

emi loves strawberry ice cream, probably because it's pink.

i have no idea why she smiled like this

nor did she even look my direction. silly girl!

the scoop comes with two small cookies.

emi was like eww...i don't like cookies.

weird child of mine! what kid doesn't like cookies and cake

but prefers fruit....i'm not complaining i just think it's weird.

weekly update {5}

looks like saturday night works best for updating the ol' blog

more like, crap...the week is almost over and i need to do a weekly update

pretty boring week this week.

we saw charlie everyday....

we even went to music makers (preschool music time)

and emi asked if we could go home to see charlie.

i was like really? i drove all this way to go home and see a horse

i had to include a picture of ozzy into my weekly updates

he loves to follow us around the house.

he especially likes to hang out in the kitchen while i cook

anytime we come home, he is there to greet us

and emi asks every single time if ozzy can come into the house

and every time my mom isn't home he comes in

or else i have to tell her no, gma says no

then she will walk in and tell gma that she says no, ozzy can't come in.

 on our walk home from charlie's emi stopped to smell this plant

everything smells like strawberries...thank you toy story 3...lotso

that red jacket, was emi's jacket when she was 1, its a 2T

it has been in the back of her closet and somehow she spotted it

and was like, gasp! my belle jacket!!

i guess belle has the same jacket

{the scene where they are outside feeding the birds}

now she constantly wants to wear it

emi loves blueberries, and strawberries, and "apple pie" {pineapple}

she ate those blueberries in less than 24 hours.

those sleepy eyes make me so sad...i wish she would take a nap

so she wouldn't be such a sassy mouth.

anytime we reprimand her about talking nicely she says

no, you be nice! or your gonna have a timeout!

i need a new game plan because the one i have isn't working.

emi is crazy about her nightgowns.

she took a bath, around 4pm...happens when you visit a horse everyday

got her dressed in pajamas, ate dinner, painted her nails :)

and when we started doing her bedtime routine

she insisted she needed to get into her nightgown

i had to break it to her that she was in her pajamas

where she said no! over and over every time my mouth opened

followed by the you be nice...time out business

i had to be mean and say ok, then get straight into bed!

she stuck with her jessie jammies but not without crying.

the weather has been so nice lately, for january

we decided to go to fairytale town

we went one monday because the children's museum is closed

go figure, they had winter hours...only open w-s

when we got there she was sooooo excited it was actually open

funny thing was, she wanted her picture taken 

in the same spots as the last time we went.

i love that it doesn't have to be my idea to paint a picture 

for daddy, so he can take it to work

{uh, why isn't this working? oh yeah...cause i'm a lefty}

 she doesn't paint or even color anything specific usually

she just likes to use each of the different colors.

 we finally saw charlie drink, she thought that was his bath

she was confused why something that looks like a tub to her was a cup for him

 as we were leaving we found a cluster of lady bugs

she tired and tried to pick them up

and once she did get them on her finger they would fly off

 since emi ate her blueberries so quickly we had to get a costco size package.

she couldn't even wait to eat them, no wonder she barley ate her pizza

i think emi's favorite movie is soon to be lady and the tramp

today she goes...you have lady and the tramp on your computer

i guess her way of asking to watch it on the computer

i let her watch her favorite scene, the cat scene...

then she quickly learned how to navigate with the mouse to watch other videos

then i told her enough, and she said...in 3 minutes. 

who is this little monster we have created?!

tanner is in a play. the state fair. the junior cast did sleeping beauty

emi loved sleeping beauty. she liked tanner's too

but eventually every time they changed scenes she would say

time to go? over yet? for at least the last 20 minutes of it.

after the show gpa convinced her to go on stage where 

she got really nervous and froze.

then gpa got on stage and danced while emi sat down and cheered for him

it was really funny she really thought he was giving a show.

 sleepy eyes again...she fell asleep before 6pm tonight.

this crazy girl will not eat anything that has to do with bread

she eats the cheese out of a quesadilla and leaves the tortilla.
