we tried to get some pictures of the girls in their x-mas outfits.
claire had fun running around, while emi watched.
it was freezing outside...literally, like in the low 30's.

i seriously think this is the cutest picture of these two.

i can't share all the x-mas pictures, but i got some great ones.

while in indiana...
we had the yummiest turkey day dinner.
thanks to melia's mom...she cooked the whole thing herself.
emi enjoyed, turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, sugar loaded sweet potatoes and rolls.

we also visited an amish community.
we ate the best pretzels i ever tasted, with sweet honey mustard.
i also ate caramel, kettle corn and a peanut butter brittle bar...
i took some pics as we drove into the community.
this is what their houses looked like.
their clothes were all hung out to dry.
and they drove buggies.
we learned the ones that wear black hats are strict amish.
the ones in white hats...
have electricity and drive cars, if they want.
then eddie read in the tour pamphlet...
it's rude to take pictures of the amish. oops!

we also stopped by norte dame before leaving
and walked around campus.

it was huge inside with beautiful stained glass windows.
