weekend at the beach

i didn't take many pictures.
i was afraid to get sand in my camera.
but here are a few from the weekend.

emi had her own bed and slept great.
she really enjoyed exploring the house
and going up and down the stairs.

one of the days we went into town
for a craft and art fair
eddie's mom has a fascination with pirates
so we had to take a picture.

we did a lot of lounging around.
the beach was not warm and full of sunshine.

more like windy and felt like the dead of winter.
being a california girl...
i packed for a sunny, summer time beach.
she never even wore her swimsuit.

we still had a great time
putting our toes in the sand and flying a kite.
