so going through my pictures on my phone this past week
i noticed something, it may seem like all we do is eat
i swear we don't graze all day everyday
but that is when she is usually sitting still for more than 2.5 seconds
toyrus is right next store to joann's
so when i went to joann's this week emi asked if we could go there
the fun store as she called it
she found the disney castle she wanted for christmas.
everyday she say she needed it and santa would bring it
so when she saw it she said: hey! santa forgot about me! i need this.
sad!! santa didn't forget about you emi
santa didn't have a budget of $180
especially when none of those dang barbie dolls are included.
one night we went to nation's for dinner.
emi had fallen asleep in the car when we went to pick eddie up
(eddie's car was in the shop this past week)
so she took a short nap and woke up super crabby!
the entire time we waited for our order
she sat with her back to us and her arms folded.
she is having some serious crabbiness due to no napping.
eating at her favorite place after having pictures done.
we talked about smiling, and she did awesome.
except for the lady taking her picture didn't like her smile.
and kept saying, while emi was smiling
do you want me to tickle you?
and then emi kind of frown and shake her head no.
so we went from forced smile to a frown the entire time.
luckily we were able to get a good shot.
we had to get a new dress cause all her cute dresses i planned to use
she wouldn't wear because those were her 'church dresses'
i assume only to be worn to church, stubborn little thing!
can you tell emi's favorite color is purple?
i think she wore purple everyday this week.
see what i'm talking about, food....
emi loved eating spaghetti with eddie like lady and the tramp
then she insisted drinking the drips of the ice cream.
we're softies and said whatever, do what you want.
eddie didn't end up getting that shirt in his hand.
emi was supper impressed by this mirror.
i'm sorry to the worker that has to clean all the hand prints.
emi loves to go shopping and even asked to go to hobby lobby
while walking out because she didn't want to go home and go to bed.
emi and i had a pretty boring day
so we decided to go on an ice cream date. just to get out of the house.
she wanted strawberry until she saw they had cotton candy
that's my girl!
we ended up sitting in the back seat of the car
i guess chilly weather and ice cream don't mix well
we were freezing. but loved our ice cream date.
i have no words! she is so dang cute!
poor emi fell asleep again in the car.
but this time she fell asleep before dinner and when getting her out of the car
she was not waking up...she was out cold.
so i put her to bed, in her clothes.
she woke up at 9pm, claiming she needed to eat and was hungry
i thought it was gonna be a long night
but nope, she ate a bowl of cereal...best late night dinner :) (all she would eat)
then went right back to sleep. thank you for being such a good sleeper emi.
except for the next night when you were awake for 2 hours
because you wanted me to hold your hand and not leave!
thank you iphone for entertaining me
since i couldn't sleep half sitting up and half leaning in her crib so my hand could reach
imagine that we are eating again.
to think we just needed eggs, for more cheesy eggs
our lunch was more expensive than the eggs.
that never happens at costco :) the $100 store
emi decided she wanted pepperoni
after eating once slice she decided they were too spicy.
gma came home from a visit in utah for great-gpa's 90th b-day
there is a gas station at the airport
so we hit up the gas station for a snack
she basically didn't wear pajamas all week
because she fell asleep again the night before while out and about with gma.
luckily she looked dressed when we went and got donuts with eddie the next morning.
the city his work is in, needs a donut shop!
there were so many old people getting their coffees
and they loved seeing emi helping carry the donuts.
loving that she is with daddy.
she loves him so much and i think misses him when he has to got to work
i wonder if when he was not working, she got use to him being home
and around for the every day boring things.
oh and she thought she was drinking chocolate milk
nope just whole milk :) but we added some chocolate when we got home.
she is use to drinking 1% or fat free.
and she loved looking through the hole.
she also loved sticking her tongue through the whole.
but i was busy eating my donut so i didn't get a picture.
she needed a bath from eating her donut and sleeping in the day before clothes
so after a bath we decided to go say hi to charlie.
i'm glad i caught this picture, she loved charlie.
charlie wasn't so sure about us.
and i can't believe we have lived here so long and haven't gone over to see him.
later that night we were all sitting around trying to decide
what kind of pizzas we were going to order for dinner.
when an episode of diner's drive ins and dives or whatever that show is called
came on about a burger joint...we decided to get in the car and drive to it
it was so good! emi loved watching the workers in the kitchen.
i took this today, a really good example of emi's hair.
some is straight but most of it is curly.
she was riding her bike later in the day
and wanted me to take her hair out because she wanted her helmet on
i explained she can wear her hair and wear her helmet
then she broke down and explained she didn't want to:
because it would mess up her hair!!
oh my goodness...you are two!! almost 3...
we went to see charlie again today
but this time we brought carrots
and we had to stand on the side of the road so we could reach him.
emi loved it and laughed so hard when she fed him.
every once in a while he would chomp and his lips would get all wild
im sure from her angle it looked a little scary
i was surprised she wasn't scared at all.
today eddie, my dad and tanner spent most of the day
setting up a pig-pen for tanner's pig
which i think he will get on monday...any name suggestions?
i am sure emi will want to go out there everyday!
well another exciting week has gone by.
