trip to oregon

so eddie had a business meeting on tuesday

and we decided to tag along to visit momo and poppy

eddie was a bit of a nervous nellie

that we would need to entertain the kids

emi just watched doc mcstuffins

and makai slept the entire way

waking up 10 minutes before we landed.

luckily the plane was half empty and we could keep him in his seat

he loves to chew/bite/suck? on this thin wash cloth

we made it :)

no that isn't eddie's murse (man-purse)

off to get the rental car

we got lucky and came across a cart

even though they are well worth the $5 when traveling with children

first order of business...

reading stories with momo

then off to poppy's bike shop for lunch and visiting.

yum! chinese food, our favorite place to eat when visiting.

the first night of no swaddling...aka...no sleep for me

little bed hog, plus a queen size bed with mr. bed hog (eddie)

TMI alert!!! *** plus he is teething and wasn't eating good

so he had only eaten from one side and so my boob was totally engorged

and i couldn't lay on that side.***

but was so happy he was able to sleep un- swaddled.

monday we made it to the zoo

it was freezing and a little drizzly.

poor makai was wrapped in blankets.

one i don't even own a beanie for him, let alone would i have even brought it, if I did

beanies are for snow, ask emi

yeee-haw!

peek a boo!!

she wasn't too excited to stand still in front of the croc/alligator

 eddie and his siblings have taken their pictures here

every time they have come to the zoo.

emi refused to sit where eddie always sat

and chose this little fox/pig/baby bear instead.

she slept the entire way home plus a couple more hours once home.

we went to play with our cousins from NY.

emi had so much fun with avery

playing with babies, dress up and the doll house.

sad we missed our other cousins by a week.

and yes, i'm pretty sure my nose picker is picking her nose.

emi and avery...i think also a 3 month age difference

which avery is younger.

they look like cousins to me.

i tried on our last night to get him to sleep in the pack n play

didn't work...slept 10 minutes in there.
