so my plan for them to be matching minions, didn't really work out.
makai wouldn't keep that beanie on his head for nothing.
and emi, she insisted on being a princess.
she has her next few years planned out....witch, ballerina, and a cat.
this is the only picture i have of makai not crying in his full costume.

wait, i lied....ha! here is another one.
within 30 seconds of this picture he ripped it right off.
this is how we went trick or treating.
gma was nice enjoy to join us trick or treating.
gpa had to stay home, sick. we missed him.
ok. she looks way too old....
thanks a lot ashley for the make-up suggestion {insert sarcasm}
she looked so pretty.
i wanted to spray paint her crown but never got to it.
then she decided she didn't want it gold.
she insisted in bringing that stupid wand...after about..hmm...
one house! she asked me to hold it.
we have a circle/loop that is our neighborhood.
i wanted to do our 'walking route', which eddie claims is 2 miles.
i guess he would know, he runs it.
he suggested the loop, which i thought wouldn't be enough.
eddie had a bee in his bonnet, like gma would say.
halloween hater, he was ready for the night to be over before it began.
good thing we just did the loop.
because this is what emi did about 2/3 of the way around the loop.
this is how things looked walking back down our street.
the home stretch....pun intended :)
makai had a great time holding her wand.
emi walked about half of the loop barefoot.
i suggested non-princess shoes, but i choose my battles and lost this one.
post trick or treating, she rubbed her eyes cause she was tired.
when i took her make-up off...she laughed and laughed.
she said she looked like a raccoon.
make up and straight hair. made me sad she is growing up so fast.
she looks so grown up in this picture.
the next day was her schools harvest carnival.
she insisted on straight hair and make-up again.
and she was such a freak about her tiara.
the carnival had about 20 stations.
where they got stickers and stamps and other crap.
they had some teachers walking around passing out candy.
a puppet show, snack bar....apples with caramel, capri suns and pretzels.
makai wanted out!! eventually i let him out.
he loves kids that are older than him.
so he was yelling and screaming as they would run by.
waiting in line at one of the booths.
this picture shows her straightened hair.
she got a butterfly painted on, which wasn't even an option.
they had all these halloween designs and emi requested a butterfly.
then all the girls after emi requested a butterfly. i felt bad.
they had a few crafts to do.
i wish i would have brought my camera.
when we got into the car i remembered i forgot it.
i explained i needed to go back in and get it.
emi then said no, just use your phone. it's embarrassing!
i asked what is embarrassing? she said, me taking pictures of her all the time.
ha! she cracks me up.
emi with her teacher mr. ray.
she laughed so hard when she saw him.
and then when he stood up he stood on his cape and choked himself.
she laughed and pointed at him. i felt so bad, like she was a bully.
at the very end they had a parade.
she had such a great time.
post edit: oh hay!! i found some more halloween pictures.
turns out, i actually did use my camera.
