still playing catch up

love when i can get a genuine smile from makai

as he wrinkles his face and closes his eyes when asked to smile.

emi and her long eyelashes and thick eyebrows.

can you just hear him saying -haw! haw! for yee-haw

so hilarious! they ask you pet the reptiles with 2 fingers 

and this is how he does 2 fingers.

poor everett will have to get use to makai's rough love.

makai wanted a picture with the baby.

makai keeps crawling into the crib and acts like a baby.

he obviously is not a baby anymore.

pretty sure everett is going to have wavy/curly hair.

emi had her check up.

she was so embarrassed she had to have a gown on.

one that didn't even close, so she sat like that.

emi has been wanting a trampoline and eddie says no way.

he doesn't want broken bones.

so when she saw this she said we had to have it.

it's like a trampoline but soft.

makai isn't too happy about going to speech.

strawberry fields are opening up.

living on the edge...quite literally.

eye-or, eye-or ...fire, fire!

can't leave this kid alone for 2 seconds. 

i obviously turned it on. but i didn't think he'd find something to stand on 

to take a closer look.

sweet baby has the worst eczema on his cheeks.

back at the doctors for his 2 month well check and shots.

weighing in at a whopping 14 pounds at 8 weeks.

back at speech and loving it. 

well loving it would be a stretch...

he is tolerating being assessed and forced to do hard things.

this kid is giving me gray hairs.

i left him there until i could take a picture.

those cheeks! they look so heavy.

another night of speech. he goes two days a week.

so far he will say i-wa =i want, improvements!!

she is the best big sister!

tanner was so sweet and came and picked emi up from school.

when it was her turn to be released he said:

i'm here for princess emi! and gave her a flower.

he had prom later that night. i hope she always remembers it.

i love this kid so much. 

all his friends had sunglasses on and he didn't.

all 3 kids were crying.

i had to document it.

the crazy cat ladies.

makai loved to go to the pet store to see the dogs get their haircuts.

and emi loves to play with the cats.

emi got a lego set for her birthday. 

and makai is obsessed with the rapunzel one (his disney crush).

so glad we sent that thing with her to grandma and grandpa's 

gpa said it took a good 45 minutes to build.

gpa got makai a t-ball set.

he is super athletic so i'm excited to see where this goes.

oh you know, just climbing up the walls around here. 

and to think i wouldn't let him up there when we moved in.

now i could careless. he likes to "walk the plank".

he was asked to bring his favorite toy to share.

his chose a bunch of bugs that momo brought for him.

eddie's birthday, with his fro/high top hair.

we cooked him breakfast in bed.

a birthday isn't complete without a ice cream cake.

tanner opened his mission call and was called to serve in the 

marshall islands kiribati mission, speaking kiribati

(he's been out 6 months already and loves it, crazy!)

i won the guess, i guessed fiji.

kiribati is between australia and fiji.

straight out of the other side of heaven movie.

sweet baby! he's a terrible sleeper.

constantly itching his head and face so he has to be swaddled.

first day to church with all 3 kids.

getting his fill of everett before he takes off.

off to school she goes! in her easter egg dress as she calls it.

makai has this weird obsession with everett's ears.

i really think it is the coconut oil i put in everett's hair.

but makai constantly does this.

emi used her birthday money and got everything elsa.

a penny bank, a locked chest and a nightgown.

emi put her nightgown on him and he didn't care to take it off.

matchy matchy, thanks to eddie's cousin the boys had adorable bow ties.

the ONLY way we eat out in peace

momo and poppy came for everett's baby blessing

and emi stayed with them the entire time.

she loved every minute of it.

emi was invited to a tea party after school.

summer is on her soccer team

and her parents won it at the school silent auction.
