the zoo

momo is here visiting this week, so we decided to hit up the zoo
last time emi went was with her cousins in april
so she was due again to go to the zoo
when we got our tickets they gave use these washers
to choose a program we'd like the zoo to support.
emi could careless and enjoyed watching the washers go in circles.

not quite tall enough
which is fine cause i don't think she would ride alone anyways
and this time we got a key!
i think that was her most favorite part of the zoo, besides the giraffes of course!

our first stop the giraffes. she loved that it told information about them
but she really loved the song at the end
she would dance to each song and insisted on doing the key twice.

watching the giraffes.
she remembered feeding the giraffes with gpa, way back in april.
sad this zoo doesn't have any elephants.

i kept trying to take pictures with the animals in the background
she was more interested in posing and having her picture taken.

she loved the songs at the end
we had a good time laughing at her and her silly dancing.

mr. makai was there, fast asleep
until the end, then he turned into a ferocious beast!
that's what i call it when he goes from hungry to starving in 2.5 seconds.

emi of course found a gazebo and turned into playing restaurant.
luckily momo was willing to play along.
i get tired of playing restaurant lady so it was nice to have someone else play the role.

emi loved the carousel.
which is a new thing, because until recently she didn't really like them
even having eddie hold her, or riding on the bench portion.

she is doing this half serious smile lately.
i think she thinks she is being funny, who knows.
i do know she loved it.

maybe i am just old, but didn't we use to have to wear the seat belts?

i'm thinking emi might have a hearing problem.
she seems to be sensitive to loud music and noises.
this is just a perfect example, she thought the carousel music was too loud.
after the zoo we went to lunch and relaxed the rest of the day
which we needed after all that walking.
