weekly update

the first couple pictures were taken before i left for utah.

then the rest are from when i came home.

oma and ops send some birthday money for emi.

she decided she wanted these silver heels.

and had to have her picture taken.

monster makai needed in on the picture.

his smile seriously cracks me up so much.

he was a hot mess wednesday afternoon 

and my 6:30 pm flight couldn't come quick enough

tale end of a cold, snack all over his face...messy hair.

i arrived home monday evening.

early tuesday morning makai had his check up.

emi stayed home with momo!! who was here visiting for emi's birthday.

tuesday night, the last day emi was 4.

can you see her sweat?! she is such a human furnace.

makai insisted he wear her underwear one night.

i don't know if he forgot he had them on or what.

thursday we headed to hobby lobby.

i had some picture frames to pick up and momo loves to look around.

as there isn't a hobby lobby near her.

emi loves to read all the books.

and i guess makai was ready for his nap.

we ended up going to chinese for lunch

they both love chinese food.

i still can't get over my blue eye'd boy.

emi has a few chores around the house.

one of them is unloading the silver wear.

she usually earns a bubblegum or 5 mini m&m's.

after we dropped momo off at the airport both kids feel asleep!
we thought for sure emi was asleep for the night.
then she woke up at 9pm! ahhh!
stayed up until 11 then went back to sleep.
not to mention she had school the next morning.

makai is not even close to being ready.

but he likes to sit on the toilet before he gets into the tub.

i just let him. nothing happens but he tries.

while emi is at school makai likes to sit in her spot.

emi's room was a disaster. and she refuses to clean it up.

i think it just gets overwhelming.

and if makai ever goes in there, she won't clean up after him.

she will say: i didn't get that out, not my problem.

so when i cleaned her room, makai raided her toy bin.

he was in heaven! i had to laugh when he got stuck.

saturday i spent my morning getting a pedicure. a much needed one.

i sure do love a fresh pedicure.
