weekly update

i don't know where we were or what we were doing.

but emi wanted to make a funny face, so i obliged.

saturday before our day got super busy we decided to go out to breakfast

and we were quickly reminded why we usually just pick up donuts

emi was bored! while we waited for our food.

and makai was his usual self. exploring and acting like a normal 2 year old.

thank goodness for sofia the first, the only he sits still for.

after breakfast the boys went and got haircuts.

emi was in charge of snack for her soccer game.

and eddie was so embarrassed to carry my pink thermal bag.

his haircut turned out ok.

i wanted it shorter on the side and she just kind of buzzed the whole thing.

i think i might try it next time.

he looks like he has super light hair in this picture.

it definitely is lighter but still brown.

eddie took emi on a date...

chinese food and leatherby's her two favorites.

we tried again for another picture.

 i found this nightgown for $3.50 and she has worn it every night.

she even insisted on wearing it onto her date.

she's asked me to put elsa on the front instead of ariel.

it is more of a light blue color than teal.

we went to chick-fil-a one night for dinner

we usually trade in the toy for an ice cream

but i am glad we didn't this time.

these binoculars have been a life saver.

we've been melting in 93 degree heat during soccer practice.

and my french braid is getting better.

makai is my errand running buddy.

let's see, when we go to sprouts for produce.

he always wants to go to the pet store next door so we always do.

then he always eats a banana, usually an apple but this time an orange

while we shop, then i just have them charge me for whatever he eats.

and then the cashier gave him a sucker...lucky boy.

i am trying, not very successfully so far...to use my camera more.

i think he is gonna use that blanket until he is an adult.

and he will probably be 3 before he gives up the paci.
