weekly update

i was recently called into the YW presidency

the first wednesday of each month we meet combine as YW

so we kind of have a birthday party

 for those that have a birthday in the new month.

emi doesn't know it. but a whole half of sheet cake was in the fridge.

i cut out that flower just for her, then tossed the rest.

she basically ate the frosting and that's it.

this boy and these horses!

i'll be glad when they are gone.

he insists on riding them every time we go to costco.

on friday ashley and crew came to visit.

emi was so excited and showed so much interest in him.

no even close to the, "not my baby" response 

i got from her when makai was a baby.

when crew was at our place we pulled out all the baby crap.

makai loved the jumper just as much as crew.

we all thought it was hilarious.

friday night was homecoming and tanner was on the football float.

it was a little chaotic cause the streets around the school were closed.

and makai was taking his car seat nap.

luckily i was able to drive around the school

and got stuck at a road block just as he rode by.

i called him and told him to turn around.

he had to wear that big rope all day, 

i think for doing an awesome job at football all week.

 

 
on sunday we "harvested" pumpkins as emi kept saying.
makai had a ball out in the garden.
he was exploring and digging and loved helping gma.

emi was equally excited, just not for me to take her picture.

the other half live in virgina.

this is such a cute picture of gma and crew.

now if we could just edit ashley out. just kidding.

makai wanted me to take a picture of his teeth.

i figured out if i say, eww! disgusting!! 

while brushing his teeth he will keep his mouth open

and is most likely laughing the entire time.

better than him just biting down and sucking the toothpaste off.

across from emi's class is a donkey and horse.

i found out the electric fence works.

makai has no fear! he kept picking up acorns and feeding the horse.

the next few pictures are from makai in the jumper thingy.

it was only out 2 days but he became obsessed.

eddie and i were laughing so hard, crying we were laughing so hard.

he didn't seem to mind it was slowing giving him a wedgie.

emi insisted she too take pictures of makai.

he can't get out himself.

so i might have found a new trap for when i need to get something done.

just kidding!! it was fun to watch him in it.
