this is going to be a super quick...
kind of already know what your doing tutorial
then i will post a bunch more pictures
and a more detailed tutorial below.
in case you need a little more instruction.
you will need a bath towel and a hand towel
this usually costs around $7 (at target)
and you can make two towels out of one hand towel
so you can purchase two bath towels & one hand towel
and make two....costing around $5 each

back stitching at both ends.
that will make the hood.
the picture below is the hood, inside out.
i used three fingers and folded in
and then folded over, then pin in place.
repeat on the other side of the pin.
this is the side you want facing you when you attach the hood.
next step: sew along pinned edge.
just under the edge and back stitch over the ends and center.
line up the center of the hood, with the center of the towel.
attach the hood by pinning the centers together.
just to clarify: both edges will be facing towards the ceiling
being careful not to bunch towel.
i would go slow over the thick part and back stitch
just to make sure things stay together.
take the pins out and sew along edge again.
and this is what the inside looks likeafter many, many washes.

ok, here is the long drawn out tutorial.
this is going to be very detailed
so detailed you can look at the computer screen
then do a step and look back at the screen
to make sure you did it right.
start out with a hand towel and a bath towel.
like i mentioned before, if you get two bath towels
you can make two hooded towels.
the easiest way would be to fold lengthwise (like a hot dog)
and then cut in half (like a hamburger)
there will be three finished edges and one raw edge.
and sew along the raw edge.
i like to sew about 3 inches in from the raw end.
it makes the hood a little smaller.
you can sew along the original raw edge and it won't be huge
i just like the hood smaller, my personal choice.
if you really want to get detailed.
you can leave it square or make it rounded.
square on the left, rounded on the right (right side out)
you sewn along the corner.
one edge is the folded side and the other edge is the raw edge.
time to start on the bath towel portion.
find the center of the towel.
by folding it in half (hamburger style) and placing a pin in place
if your towel has a tag...
it should be on the left, touching the ground under the towel.
or you can cut it off.
so you could see what it's suppose to look like.
this is the side you want facing you when you attach the hood.
actually just inside the edge, on the towel.
back stitching on the ends and the middle
to make sure it is sturdy.
oh and i forgot to mention...
it's best to use thread that matches the towel
match the center of the towel, with the seam of the hood.
pinning the entire edge of the hood to the edge of the towel.
