weekly update

this past week was a doozy.

bad things come in three is what i've heard.

one, our brand new printer didn't work straight out of the box.

after a week at the fix it shop, we finally got it back with empty ink tanks.

then it took another couple of days to be sent new ink, free luckily.

two, we had bought a groupon for a furnace tune-up

well they found a huge problem!

 and if not caught it would have blown the whole thing.

luckily we have a home warranty to cover it.

and three, makai and i came down with the worst head cold ever.

maybe the worst cause it is his first and it's been years since i had a cold.

so i am glad the week is over.

this little stinker is so funny during bath time.

he refuses to sit down lately.

he just wants to play with the faucet and pull emi's hair.

he has all of sudden turned into a picky eater.

he just wants eggo waffles and fruit.

what do you mean i get toast?!

i told you i want an eggo waffle, woman!!

emi loves to play and sing for me.

i had just been serenaded with each primary program song.

 makai is a super light sleeper. and if he is woken earlier than he is ready.

this is usually how he spends the rest of the day.

lounging around and taking rest breaks from playing.

on saturday we headed to the park for a pumpkin festival.

these pumpkins were huge.

emi was crabby and not in the mood for picture taking.

2 seconds before this she rolled her eyes so hard her eye balls almost fell out.

she is her mother's daughter. poor eddie.

 then she saw this picture thing and changed her tune.

she would not let me fix her pants.

who cares, she is smiling and looking my direction.

my big brown eye'd girl.

we had to run to costco for a few things

they finally have the underwear that has sofia and doc mcstuffin

i explained they are for x-mas. how boring!

sunday we went to gma and gpa's

ozzy likes that he is on the other side.

i'm waiting for the day when makai crawls all over him

i am sure he will tolerate it and probably even like it.

baby jail!! as uncle tanner calls it.

best invention ever as i call it, he did so good in it too.

he is just into everything and anything, so it was nice to contain him.

he wouldn't sleep in the baby jail but he fell asleep on the way home.

he sleeps like this during his naps.

i am afraid to take his shoes off, in fear he will wake up.

monday we had tap lessons by emi.

he loves it so much!

not sure cause it is like his big sissy, or cause it makes noise.

she asked me if she looked cute.

of course she does!! princess emi.

she says the funnest things, she put this dress on.

came to me, while pulling on the side of her dress 

and asked if i could see her boob? uh, yeah, now that you point it out.

so random! so we had a talk on why we don't how our boobs. lovely.

can you believe we forgot stuff at costco, back we went.

emi loves the salad, so we share.

she was like, i love eating leaves! wish i had that recorded.
