the sunday before christmas we had a little christmas dinner
since my parents went out of town for christmas
to visit my sister ashley and her husband.
i was so happy i got to cook a traditional meal
as eddie requested ribs for our christmas dinner.
so we had:
baked brie, a cheese ball, cauliflower gratin, roasted carrots
mashed potatoes, ham and a chocolate silk pie. yum!!
i had so much fun preparing and cooking everything.
my mom looking cute in her new winter outfit.
and makai only broke 3 of those cherished ornaments.

emi was the first to open her presents.
she was so excited to finally get some new books for her leapreader/tag.
she was so nice to help makai open is presents.
he didn't really get it and was mad when we tried to force him.
i thought this was hilarious.
the two of them were more excited for him than he was.
until he found the buttons to make the noises.
he loves the trucks. which is good cause he needs more boy themed things.
more leappad stuff!!
tanner was so nice to help! and emi was so excited for him.
tanner uses a pink, see through make up bag for his toiletries bag.
we figured with him going on a mission after next year.
it was time for an upgrade.
hilarious to watch how excited he was for toiletries.
tanner's flamboyant picture :) ha!
(tanner: it was either this one or your mooning me picture)
then it was gpa's turn.
his gift had a little joke to go with his.
he travels about 2 hours one way to work some days.
so we got him a car care kit....which included a urinal!!
it was so funny. we all laughed so hard!
grreeaaaat!! more bubble gums.
emi has a few boxes, so many that eddie randomly asked:
why does she have all these bubble gums and no bubble gum machine.
she also got a sweater, not pictured.
when she wore it to school, she said: look, i look like abbey.
i said who is abbey? thinking sesame street.
i guess a girl in her class, named abbey has the same sweater.
ahh! what a mess.
better their house than mine :)
emi had so much fun dumping out the green tinsel.
she especially liked dumping it on gpa!
wish i got a picture of her face, she was loving it.
