5 year check up

i don't know why i schedule their dr. appts so early.

our dr. only works two days a week...

each day for only 4 hours, so i try to be his first appt,

this time we went in pajamas cause an 8am appt came way to early.

emi did great with her check up.

she is 47 pounds and 44 inches tall.

88% in weight and 80% in height.

she impressed the nurse.

last year she called the cup a tea cup...this year it was just a mug.

she's growing up.

i loved her seriousness.

last year she didn't raise her hand but heard the beeps.

so i talked to her about making sure she raised her hands this time.

she was so relaxed at her appt.
she knew ahead of time she didn't have any shots.

she had to have some paperwork filled out for kindergarten.

once section was for a TB shot, which she didn't have done last year.

so she wasn't prepared when the nurse came in with a shot.

she didn't cry but whimpered a little bit. it was so sad.

makai had his 18 month check up the week before.

 24 pounds 4 ounces and 31.5 inches tall.

50% in weight and like 13% in height. 

he suggested some speech therapy but i'll touch on that in another update.

during makai's appt he hit his head 4 times and fell off a chair. 

all in front of the dr. it was awesome!!
