weekly update

saturday after the dump and our ward easter egg hunt

we headed over to the shadle's for gus's birthday party.

it was circus themed with cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones.

mimi (gus's gma) did some face painting.

emi loved her heart.

when we got home we were out in the backyard playing.

makai never wants to come in. like ever.

he screams and cries when i give them a warning about coming in.

so when he saw something on tv. he had stand with one foot in and one out.

we've also learned he knows how to open a screen doors. yikes.

sunday night emi had a sleepover to gma and gpa's.

gma and gpa had to work in the morning but tanner was home.

thanks tanner for watching her!!

the entire drive she sang: i'm going on vacation! i'm going on vacation!!

and then i guess when she got up. she said to tanner:

today is my last day of vacation. ha!

then we headed to pizza bell buffet for lunch. yum!

makai has really been into basketball lately.

so cute to watch him. he claps for himself when he makes it.

we headed to trader joe's one afternoon

makai loved having his own cart.

he was all over the place. if i was in front of him he ran into me

if he was in front of me, he ran into anything and everyone.

everyone was very nice about  having their leg rammed with a cart.

and while i was paying (like literally swiping my card and entering my pin)

monster makai found his way to a huge sparkling water and decided to carry it.

luckily when he dropped it, he didn't break it.

and that is why he will stay strapped into a cart for a little while longer.

i think i lost 8 years of my life that afternoon.

 

one night we were over gma and gpa's

i love how makai makes himself at home there.
