makai's first haircut

technically i have given makai multiple haircuts

but i was wanting more of a closer cut around his hair line.

eddie switched barbers recently.  so we decided to take makai in too.

he did so good and seemed excited about getting his hair cut.

until the buzzers started.

i don't think the noise bothered him but it touching him.

once second he was fine. the next second he wanted to see what he was doing.

mom...why did you make me get a haircut?

i had to get a picture of eddie getting his haircut.

i believe this is just the way his barber cuts his hair to get the perfect fade.

but i thought it was funny and had to get a picture.

things were going great and the barber was really fast.

but things went downhill when makai got hair on his face.

i tried the binkie to keep him crying and from standing up.

luckily the barber was pretty much done by then.

this was the best after picture i could get of him.

next time i want it shorter but this was more about having the first time over.

and now he knows what to expect.

the barber was nice to give them ring pops.

which makai really loves and ate it like a pacifier.

of course miss emi had one too.

after we went and grabbed some lunch.

and while eating i was trying to get a picture of his haircut.

i didn't really get one of his haircut but i did of his cut face.

such a cutie!!
